KP-05 (CO2) pistol replica

The replica was made almost fully of metal. The only plastic made elements are the pistol grip covering panels which are anti-skid profiled and some minor elements of the inner mechanism and the magazine’s foot overlay. This model is made with high attention to detail and is good balanced what significantly improves its stability while shooting. The pistol’s weight itself – over one kilogram – allows to compensate the effect of the strong blow back. It is also worth mentioning that the pistol grip itself – as it was already mentioned is anti-skid profiled. It is made by the Japanese KOBA company and ensures the pistol’s stability in the hand while operating with it.

What is important – the replica can be easily and fast disassembled in order to clean it what in the case of the green-gas models is very important. The full user’s manual on how to conduct such operation is located in the package.

The pistol bases on the Colt’s construction with all of its advantages. First of all, it is equipped with the ambidextrous safety lever what significantly facilitates the operation with the pistol for both, left and right handed users. The second form of safety of preventing a random  accidental discharge, for example resulting from hooking the trigger on the holster, is the safety located in the pistol grip. It is impossible to shoot with the replica without holding it properly in the hand.

We are dealing here with a very realistic blow-back system. With each shot, the replica’s slide moves backwards and than comes back to the primary position loading the BB pellet to the chamber at the same time. After the last shot and meeting the empty magazine, the slide remains in the backwards position. Due to the type of the used gas – carbon dioxide – the kick is very strong what is, without any doubt, an attraction for the fans of increased realism of the skirmish.

The replica is equipped with a RIS standard rail located in front of the trigger guard. It allows a trouble free mount of a laser target marker or a small tactical flashlight. The iron aiming sights – both, the front iron aiming sight and the rear iron aiming sight – are marked with bright dots what facilitates the aiming and placing an accurate shot.

Another vital advantage of the pistol is the adjustable hop-up system which significantly improves the replicas range ( under the condition that it is adjusted properly). What is also important, the extended magazine holds 29 BB pellets. This gives the user a significant advantage on the battle field.

The set includes a magazine for the 12g CO2 cartridges, yet it is possible to use the green-gas powered magazines. The gas cartridge is mounted in the magazine after taking out the plastic cover.

Attention! The muzzle velocity of the CO2 powered replicas is dependant from the gas volume inside the tank and from atmospheric conditions!

he set includes:

– the replica
– a magazine
– hex wrenches for adjusting the Hop-Up system and opening the CO cartridge chamber
– a starter BB pellet set

A valid defence is required to purchase any Airsoft Replica Firearm. If you don’t have a defence you must add Two Tone to your basket.

If you require a RIF to be painted two-tone to be VCRA compliant (No Valid Defence / Site Membership / UKARA etc) then please add TWO TONE to your order.

If you require a RIF to be painted two-tone to be VCRA compliant (No Valid Defence / Site Membership / UKARA etc) then please add TWO TONE to your order.

To purchase a realistically coloured Airsoft Replica Firearm (RIF) you must have a valid defence.  The most common of these is UKARA which stands for United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association and is essentially a database of registered players.  UKARA requires you must be a site member at any of the registered UK Airsoft sites.  This means you must play 3 games in MORE  than 56 Days. Once you become a member you are added to the database, please note paperwork and validation is required.  There are other types of defence, but UKARA is by far the most popular.  Please note this only applies to the gun, not the kit or accessories.

If you don’t yet have a defence, you can always add two-tone to your order. This simply means you have 51% painted in a bright colour such as green, blue or orange.  You can then purchase any RIF you wish.

If you have any questions regarding what is or isn’t a defence, or just looking for some general airsoft advice, then please drop us a call or contact us here

All items available in stock are available to collect in-store from our Nottingham or Sheffield bases. Alternatively, standard delivery is 3-5 days and is charged at £5.95 per order.

UK Airsoft sites are twinned with two playing sites in the midlands, both UKARA registered.  If Woodland is your preference, then take a look at Skirmish Airsoft. Located in the heart of Sherwood Forest, with several playing zones. It also has “Commando Rolls” catering facility and large ample car parking. The site has excellent facilities, including some safe-zone plug sockets for charging of batteries.

CQB your thing?  Within the store at UK Airsoft Nottingham we have 8000 square feet of purpose built CQB map.  It opens most Sundays and some midweek dates so get yourself booked in at Skirmish CQB.  There is also an electronic Attack Sense Target Range which is also open most days, but please call for availability.
